Time Life music has a new record collection they are pushing: 80’s Gold. And you know what? It is gold. At least 90% of the songs they showed were ones I recognized and enjoyed. I seriously thought of getting it, but at 120 smackers it better come with that puppet head [...] I just spent the night working alongside two ‘urban’ males. Two guys raised in harsher environments then suburbia, Mass. Guys with tales to tell, men who fought regularly, had many supposed sexual escapades, stole things larger then a Kit Kat. Guys who listen to rap and hip hop and can actually understand the [...] If you spend ten minutes or longer explaining how much you don’t care about something -you might want to revise your position. I’m just sayin’ The wife and I went and saw ‘Movin’ Out’ (a Tony award winning musical based on the music of Billy Joel) at the Tampa Bay Performing Arts Center. And we had a blast. First we got all gussied up (which involved buying some new threads for the wife) and ate at the restaurant they have [...] Well, this is my first serious God post. Off to the races I go. This post is came to fruition because of recent events in my life. Work, the direction my life was taking, how I was handling it, everything. Things got hard -still sorta are, but they are getting better. [...] Let’s talk about the Progressive Auto Insurance commercial. Their claim is that they help you find the best insurance, which may or may not be theirs. Their tag-line is that if they are that special in helping you save money imagine how they will be when you need them in an accident? Bryant Gumbel (you may remember him, he was last seen in NBC’s ‘Catch a Falling Star’ special) made an erudite and scathing attack of social commentary on the Winter Olympics. He said it was lilywhite. As in no black people. As in –somehow, there appears to be a vast social conspiracy to [...] Good news! Eat at TGI Friday’s -specifically their new 3 course meal plan and you will be socially popular and get laid. Often. Have fun, kids! Lean Cuisine has a series of new meals out. These wonderful new meals are ‘Chef Inspired’! Isn’t that great? I sure hope that the [...] I’m a Christian. Have always been. And while the way I practice and dwell on my faith may not be considered the norm, I still consider myself a devout Christian (though highly imperfect.
